Byrd Construction Services, Inc. was founded in July 1985, to fill the need for a quality metal fabricator and installation contractor in the pulp and paper industry. These services include the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of various air systems, hood enclosures, and pneumatic conveying systems involved in the paper making process.

In 1988, we moved to our current location, 30347 Hwy. 59 N, Loxley, AL, which utilizes a 16,000 sq. ft. fabrication shop situated on 13 acres one mile north of Interstate 10. Since this time we have maintained a strong presence in the pulp and paper industry, as well as, migrated into other industrial disciplines that include: Power Generation, Chemical, Petroleum, Mineral and Cement, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Iron and Steel Process, and Waste to Energy in both the domestic and international markets. We pride ourselves in our reputation that has been built on high quality, and complete customer satisfaction. With our team having more than 100 years of combined experience, we feel that we have some of the most knowledgeable people in the business.

Over the years, we have continued to improve and automate our fabrication and erection techniques to decrease costs, as well as, increase production efficiency. We are constantly working to meet our customers’ specifications, and provide our clients with an exceptionally knowledgeable, efficient, and dedicated staff with a proven and effective system to accomplish our clients’ objectives.
